This is kind of Poker Storyish, but I'll post it here since it may prompt some discussion....and this section needs a boost, anyhow.
This guy flat calls the turn with absolutely nothing (OK, a pair of threes), w/o any draws, and then checks behind OTR.
Any thoughts?

Reraise PF, it's a big hand HU and plays both ways. Pot flop.

One other thought, this guy doesn't fold much, so that's why I didn't want to bet that flop.
I agree to re-raise PF.
Am I potting the flop so that he can fold his low hand that missed? Let's assume I pot the flop, and he calls. The turn is a horrific card for me, and most likely a great card for the villian. What's my play OTT? |

| I'm betting the turn as I would if I made the flush vs. most opponents that smooth call the flop, unless they are just incredibly LAPfish. But, I really think this plays out differently if you RR pre, lead post vs. a large % of their range. I don't think you see a turn often unless they have a real piece as the bets are quite a bit larger. I don't understand their turn call, likely misclick. I'd like to say your bet looked like a blocker and he intended on betting the river, but he didn't, so probably misclick or just hideously bad. |
