This is a tough post to compose, but i'm sensing that i'm not alone..... I've recently had a Full Tilt Poker check returned to me, and have been trying to contact suppot at the site for three days now, and have received ZERO correspondance from Full tilt in this matter. Now, i'm going to assume that three days isn't much time in the grand scheme of things, and am hoping that this is just one of those things that happens, every once in a while. I understand that FTP has recently changed it's system of check payments to players.....Hopefully, this situation is just isolated, and not a harbinger of things to come.
jdolan, I saw your post in another thread, that sounds just like this one. I'm praying that this thread will be old news in two months, and that all players will have been compensated for their loss(es)..... But, at this point, i'm interested to find out if this IS just isolated to me......Please don't post lies or innuendos about FTP here in this thread, this could be a VERY serious situation with the site. I'll keep checking on this thread with one eye closed, hopingthat this isn't a wide-spread problem..... Just color me frustrated in this matter, and guessing all will be well VERY shortly...... I can't IMAGINE Full Tilt Poker imploding in a situation like this..... |

| I just got a returned check yesterday. Sent in an e-mail to their support about an hour ago. Hoping to a resolution to this soon. Nothing scarier for a poker player than to find out he can't access his money. |

I have not had return check issues, but i have been hearing about this spreading like wildfire...i also question how it is that there is absolutely no problem to deposit $$ in 15 seconds electronically, but they are unable to allow you to withdraw money in the same fashion.
I have felt that this site is suspect for quite a while as based upon the high, high percentages of "bad beats" , the unlikely pulls that people get consistently. People argue that since when playing on line we see many more hands at a faster rate so that it just appears that the bad beats occur greater....I dont buy that.
I have had runs where i will not only get the same denomination of hole cards two or three hands in a row, but the EXACT same cards several hands in a row....I have never had that occur in live play.
Bouncing checks is just another piece of information that leads to me to think that on line poker can be, and is, corrupt and should be avoided by anyone with common sense and a desire to hold on to their money |

^I agree
even if you are playing more hands than you would in person, you should not have your aces cracked by running 3's on the turn and river, more than once in a day. Bad beats like this pile up one after another, nut flushes being destroyed by a miracle 2 outer full house on the river. Kings over Queens and the queen comes on the river, the bad beats never end.
this site is a joke, especially if you can't get your own money out of your account and their checks are bouncing. Stick to live poker people and save your hard earned money! |

| I do not see many true bad beats. I just see a lot of donks being rewarded for bad plays. |
