I wanted to post this in the rap battle contest, but that got locked up with the quickness. I know it's over, but I wanted to contribute something...
With so much drama on the FTP/
It's kinda hard being S-t-o-double c/
But, I, somehow someway/
Keep coming up with cashes, with my superior play/
May, I, win a coin flip with these fo's/
And, make a few g's like to pros, do
One in the morning and the tourney's still going/
Cause my hand didn't hold/
I got friends on the rail and we chattin' it up/
And, they ain't leaving til' I wrap this s**t up/
So what you wanna do? chooop/
I got a pocket full of Aces so I'm thinking let's not/
So ship in the chips and just close your eyes/
Your hand don't stand a chance, is that a couple of 5's?

here's my flow. its called: the one that got away
lyrically i'm a boss, yo i'm second to none
like aces in the hole, when i'm under the gun
i'm playin multiple pots, i raise it up in position
playing bully at the table, got you folding to submission
i'm persistant, you're not even close or competition
math wiz kids telling me that i can't do the long division
got the table reads off cuz i'm messing up their vision
i'm a surgeon with my bets, precise with precision
the first incision, has got you tilting off the stack
"i'm sure you're just unlucky, reload and get it back"
matter fact, my words are weapons when i act
i'm like mikey the mouth, on this verbal attack
i got you ranting and raving, constantly complainin
"he wins every race, its just simply amazin"
just then, a hottie with the looks of 10
starts creepin up behind, trying to check on my hand
i let her in, thoughs distract me for min
actually its been about an hour since i've come up with a win
stack dwindled down to the felt and then i begin
to feel that vomit coming up, "man this sh*t happened again"
smiles all across the table, as i start to comprehend
i just dropped a couple hundred, more like five or ten
time to cut the losses now, return at my best
"nah f*ck that sh*t man", as i reach into the vest
got a couple hundos left, i got the ultimate test
dealer calls the floor as he passes me my stack of checks
i stay back on the grind, ease back into mind
start the music back up just to pass the time
as i unwind, past hands clutter my mind
a revelation happens, like a strike from the divine
3 folds to me and as i'm staring down the line
i take a peek at the cards, and squeeze out a couple nines
cutting down a stack a chips, as i take my time
realize the best play is make it 4 times the big blind
its 20 to go, i get 5 calls behind
thinkin "let me win this hand, c'mon just ONE TIME"
watch the flop fall, jaw drops to the floor
see two more nines peel, followed last by a four
my heart starts racing, calmly tap the felt
the action to follow me was really something else
next player bets the pot, followed next by a shove
can't believe the luck i have, someone must like me up above
the other two players both move their stacks in
actions back to me, i can't wait to get it in
and just then, i hear a faint voice uttering a strange sound
try to gather my thoughts, but the voice is getting loud
"you're gonna get fired, i hope you're really proud"
wake up, a hazy daze looking straight into the clouds
like a jolt my body flies up high into the air
i'm 20 minutes late and still gotta fix my hair
kiss my lady goodbye, head out to start the day
thinking bout that massive pot, the one that got away. |

Basically a freestyle, but since you're typing on a keyboard, it's a keystyle. |
