Shove the river and make him pay the extra $1.70. If he was drawing to a 5th diamond or OESD with an 8 and missed everything, he's folding anyway. But he's stacking off light here, including if he just paired an Ace.

Agree with mathman, I like your flop and turn bets, but defintely shove the river. You're not folding to his raise anyway, so push it in and make him think hard about calling all in with a low flush or the same straight as you.
