If it's truly random, then every possible out come must happen eventually. The number of cards is not only finite, it's quite small. No odds in poker are all that great that you shouldn't expect them to happen just about every night on some table somewhere. Runner runner flush isn't even that high odds compared to runner runner with fewer outs, like quads or inside straight flush - both of which I've seen happen (the later in a Omaha hand, but still). You can imagine the reaction of the losers on those hands.
If there was a possible sequence of cards that never actually happened, then it would be rigged. |
