I just started out playing real money after being successful at the 100k/1m limit in play money for about a year.
I experienced 80% bad beats in the $1 SNG, spending about $40. So I moved up to the $2 SNG on the advice of several players.
This is what happened my first 4 tournies at the $2 level....
1. I am dealt AA early in the tournie - I put in 5 bets - 2 callers - flop A Q 10 spades, I go all in and lose the a royal flush.
2. I am dealt A 3 - flop 10 3 3 - I raise 4 bets, 1 caller - turn A, I go all in - river A - my opponent has A 10 and I lose to a higher full house.
3. Ig o heads up to win the tourney - all in with A 8, my opponents has A 7 - he flops a 7 on the river, I end up second.
4. I am on the bubble - I go all in 550 chips with JJ - big chip leader calls with 3 2!! turn is 2 and river is 2.
The next day I played only two 90-player $1 SNGs
In BOTH I was in about 20-22 position with approx 3-5k in chips, hit 2 pair on the flop, go all in, was ahead, and lost to a higher 2 pair on the river on BOTH occasions!!!!
I think I need a poker psychiatrist!!!! LOL |
