Iam sick of all these donkey callers and chaser who think there good players , donkeys should learn the game before they play , making sick donkey calls , chasing , closing there eyes and praying they hit there weak garbage hand . God rewards donkeys every time and Iam sure they tell all there other donkey friends how they played like a champ when they hit with the garbage they play

Seriously, when I first started posting here I tried to use logic on posts like these, but it just never works.

If someone is honestly believing they're better off playing against good players than against donkeys:

1) your fundamental game is off. If all the other players really are donkeys, you can win more than you lose easily just by playing solid math based poker and keeping an eye on betting patterns.

2) Internet poker is not for you. Try chess. Far fewer bad beats.

Most Donks That First Start Playing Omaha Think That If You Get [A A 8 4] For Instant And The Flop Is [9 4 Q] They Will Think They Have A Two Pair But They Dont They Only Have One Pair, And Like Situations Like That. That Is Were You Will Get Payed Off By The Donks In Omaha, But Otherwise They Will Suck Out And Play Bad But What Heck Everybody Starts From Somewhere Lol Very Happy

Maybe you should go play some Razz.

Lots of donkeys there too, but you can see 4 of their first 6 cards. Some of them seem to think "He's only betting cause he can see my weak board, I'll call his bluff down for 2-3 more streets." Very profitable.

sometimes i wish the games would get a little tougher just cause playing against donkeys is no fun. Then i realize that i can buy fun with all the money i win. Untill i do something stupid and go broke... then i win back my money on the donkey games... what a horrible cycle.

Also first u have to define things. To me a bad player is someone who trys best but plays bad.A donk is an even worse bad player then a bad player.And a goof off is someone who knowingly purposely goofs off to try and butluck beat out better players.

With those definitions in mind,bad players who try their best are good,because of how they play they usually suckout and bad beat u less.they still bad beat but thats worth the profits.

Donks can also be good but depends on how many of them there are and what game.Donks win about 3 out of every 10 times they play.This would seem to favor the good player.Now in a limit or potluck cash game the more donks u have the better,because u will win profit more over time,with little risk to yor bankroll.

Donks can also be good in a no limit cash game,but not as good as the other games.Also there is more short term risk,but more long term profit.So if u have a big bankroll lots of donks in this game is good.If u have a small bankroll,and little patience lots of donks can be bad,and destroy yor bankroll.

Now the reason why lots of donks can be bad in this game,is that lets say there are 100 donks,100 times 3 out of 10 times winning mean they win 300 times out of 1000 times.300 donk beats if not spread out and if happens a lot all at once can utterly destroy a bankroll.

Now lots of donks in tourneys can be very bad.lets say there is 1000 donks in a 3000 person tourney,that means the donks will win 3000 out of 10000 trys.about 1/2 of donk beats will bust a player out instead of dealing a hit to a stack.That means there are about 1500 donk beats that will beat players out.That means that about 250 to 500 good players are almost garanteed to get donk beat out of a tourney which is bad.Thats why lots of donks in a tourney is bad.A few donks is good,because there are less donk beats floating around,while losing to other players and helping those players stay alive and build up their tourney stacks.But a lot of donks is bad.

Now another thing to consider is in live poker,there are less hands played,so its a good thing to have lots of bad players donks and goofs in live play,because there are less hands played,so because of that there is less chances or likelyhood of getting donkbeat,while greater chance or likelyhood of profiting off them.

But in online poker there are heck of a lot more hands played,thus making it more likely u will get bad beat donk beat and goof off beat.Thus having a lot of donks and goof offs is not good online with the more hands played online than live,because there is a greater chance u will get donk beat and goof off beat,and a less likely chance u will profit off them.

Now this again is not a big deal in limit pot limit cash games,but in a online tourney it is a big deal,u want a few donks and goofs to help u,and only give u a small risk,but a lot of donks and goofs is bad in online tourneys.

If u have a sheer overwhelming number of donks and goof offs in online poker tourneys,u are almost garanteed to profit very little or not at all or to lose lots in both short term and mid term and only profit or break even over the very longest of long terms.

To illustrate how bad this is it took about a year or more for Chris fergusson to go from zero to 10k thru most sit and go's and NL cash games and NL tourneys.This is or was mainly because of the sheer overwhelming number of donks and goof offs who kept on donk beating and goof off beating him time and time again.

If chris fergusson had tried his little experiment playing only in live poker freerolls to start etc,I have no doubt that chris fergusson would have only taken 1 month to 3 months to go from zero to 10k,in live only play.And the reason for that is that there are less donks and goof offs.

Also another thing to consider,if yor good enough to beat the best players,then someone good enough to beat the best players,is not gona want a lot of goofs and donks who can goof beat or donk beat them. A good enough player who can beat the best players can beat the best players and profit off the best players,without taking a lot of bad beats,donk beats,and goof off beats.Those beats still happen in that situation but a heck of a lot less often.So a good player can profit off of other good players or best players with very minimal risk,and minimal bad beats,goof beats,donk beats.So thats why good players dont want or shouldnt want to play donks goofs online in online tourneys etc.

But if that really good player was playing a limit pot limit cash game,that player would want donks and goofs,and wouldnt care who they were playing,good,bad,donk,goof.

So to summarize,a lot of donks and goofs can be good depending on the game and player,and online,or live,a few donks and goofs can be good in game where its not good to have donks goofs in the game depending on the game and player,live,online.And a lot of donks goofs can be very bad depending on the game,players,live,online.
