Not really a Fulltilt topic.
I just want to know how many people out there agree with my findings. Those findings are that Pokerstars is the worst site for people hitting trips on the flop at the same time, hitting 2 pairs on the flop at the same time and getting rivered by one overcard, mainly an ace.
Not once have I experienced on fulltilt the first of the 2 situations. Yes I have been done by an ace on the river a few times but never seen someone hit trips on the same flop as me.
Just venting my anger at the worst poker site in the world...pokerstars.....avoid at all costs. |

The amount of times you will hit trips on PS is exactly the same as it is on here. The same as it is on any other site.
This is the best site I've ever played on, but FWIW I've just started on stars and im doing pretty well, theres a lot more weak players on there than there are on here so I dont planning leaving PS for the time being.
The 2 situations you describe above are called coolers/ just one of those things. Happens regularly in poker in general, you maybe havnt been playing very long or played enough hands to notice this.
In before lock. |

| I agree that Poker Stars has nothing on Full Tilt, but not because of the shuffle. All the sites have a random shuffle. True randomness dictates that crazy **** happen. A lack of crazy **** happening would mean the cards are actually being manipulated to appease the players. |

| I find I'm getting more ripped apart by bad beats on full tilt than on pokerstars. I was dominating the 5$ sngs on PS whereas I can't even get past the 1$ ones on full tilt getting badbeated out about 1/5 of the sngs I play. |

I know it's probably none of my business, but haven't the mods (mostly IABoomer) just been locking these threads to keep the forum tidy? |

I'll tell ya something about Poker Stars and why I quit playing there. I used to play a lot of their freeroll mtt's just for the purpose of seeing a lot of hands and getting a look at other players. I never played many real money games there except for a few small stakes SnGs.
Anyway, I noticed a pattern in the deals in almost every one of those freeroll mtt's. Usually within 10 to 15 minutes after the second break there'd be a hand dealt with AA vs KK vs QQ vs JJ. Of course this being those crappy freerolls it almost always ended up with four players all-in before the flop. But it became such a common thing that I could tell my wife to come over and watch because it was about time for that four big pairs deal. And sure enough, within a few minutes we'd see four players moving all-in preflop and each turning up AA, KK, QQ and JJ.
It certainly could have just been coincidence but it made me very uncomfortable playing there. |
