dfp? Only thing I see possibly beating you is 33.

I'd probably bet bigger OTF. If he's calling $36, I think he's calling more as well, given a normal range for him. I like the ~1/2 pot bet OTT, giving him a chance to shove and rep an A.

Standard imo, I don't think villain really has a 3 that often except for 33, but I think there are quite a few other hands they're taking this line with as well. I'm not sure about your betsizing on either street though.

Sorry if I sound dumb but what does dfp stand for? I've never heard of it before.

Now that you mention betting 1/2 pot OTT to induce a shove I like it.

I'd tend to c-bet a bit more on this flop, especially since you're a little deeper than normal. Villain has an overpair a ton so I just want to start getting as much money in the pot as I can as quickly as I can. As played I like the turn.

Double Fist Pump.
I might have made the acronym up, which, if this is the case, would explain why you've never heard it.

Also, villain is IMHO just as likely to semi-bluff shove facing a slightly larger c-bet, so I don't think you are folding any more worse hands out by betting bigger.

Yeah I just don't think we'll be seeing much of that no matter how much we bet though. If he has something like AQ he's probably more likely to float the flop than raise it given stack sizes and PF action.
