No.

You can't set up a private cash game, but you can set up a rebuy tournament. |

Nope. |
Does one know of any site/program that allows something like that? |

I have many questions, but can I make a heads up tourny for only 2 or 4 people. If I wanted to play against a friend only, could I just set up a quick one to do that?
Also, can you make Public "Private Tournaments". LOL, I know it sounds ridiculous, but is it possible? Or can we have a discription or something in the lobby to tell people what the password is?
Thanks for all your help,

No, you have to wait for them to recieve your email, and you have to set a date/time. You could just both join a SNG I guess. If you really want to play NLHE but they fill up too quick, then try PLHE.

You can just have the password displayed in the lobby information. I've seen this done before, mostly in charity tournaments. |

| So the minimum fee would be $25 for a freeroll? But if I set up a weekly game for $1 + .50 and there were 12 people, then that only comes up to $6 for Fulltilt. So isn't that the cheapest way to go. Or can I go even cheaper. Please let me know. Thanks. |

I'm not 100% sure, but I haven't heard of them charging for freerolls. They just take $25 (or whatever amount you want) out of your account, and it goes to the prizepool of the tournament. If you want to make it a buyin event, the minimum fee is $0.50, so you could make anything up to $5 the money that goes to the prizepool. So anything from $0+.50 to $5+.50. |

Hey sorry Im a newbie and just started playing...but gotta few questions
1) We can have less than 9 players right? like 6 or 7
2) Is this like all the tournaments where you buy in for say $1 or $5 but you actually start off with "1500 chips" or do you just start off with like $5 or $1 whatever the buyin is
3) Say theres a person who hasnt signed up for full tilt...can you use a gift certificate for first time sign ups? like if i wanted ot invite a friend can i send him a$25 gift certificate and he can join the private tournament with it (because thats less than the $50 minimum he would have to deposit)
Thanks and how soon should we let full tilt know? i read 48 hours....and is any time available?
thanks |

Yes

You start with 1500 chips since it's a tournament and not a cash game. If you want, you can increase the entry fee (eg. $5+1 instead of $5+0.50) and get doublestacked (3000 chips). You can also have an even larger entry fee if you want superstacked (5000 chips). I'm not sure how they go about the entry fees according to starting stacks, you'd have to email them.

I'm sure they'd be able to just use the gift certificate to get money into their account to play.

I'd recommend a day or two in advance. I'm not sure what you mean by "is any time available". You can select whatever date/time you want if that's what you're asking. |
