Um....yeah.
The guy who beat you didn't put any significant amount of chips in pre-flop, and after the flop, when he developed an open ended straight draw, he decided to call a fairly big bet. He's got more than a few outs in that situation. And you cry foul. That's funny.
When the buy in is a buck, go all in with AA every time. He wouldn't have called an all in with that, and you might have suckered some other schlub into calling with Q K or something similar.
That's not a bad beat at all, fella. Like the others said, you just misplayed your aces. |

When you read these poker books and watch these movies, you need to have an open mind. There are different situations in where you should raise different amounts. Most of the time with a big hand, you want to raise big enough to isolate your opponents and get maybe 1-2 callers at most. If you raise the minimum and the whole table of 9 calls you, your aces are most likely not going to hold up.  |
