ok.. i started playing 1 tabled 6.50 turbo SNG's ..and absolutly ruined them 1 table at a time (atm my day profit is 50+$)
but when i tried 2 tabling it i lost 3 straight
4th one was when i lost the 1 table i went back to the other table and beat it out for i think 2nd or 1st...
my question is...what could i have posibly doing wrong 2 tabling it |

Turbos have an incredible amount of variance so it may just be a coincidence. Also adding a table will probably lower your ROI slightly but it should add $/hour.
Or maybe this isn't the case for you and garfunkel69 is correct. |

First of all, judging your performance based on the results of 4 SnGs is a terrible idea, especially if they are turbos. Look back at your play and decide whether you did anything wrong. Don't look at the results until you have a much, much bigger sample size.
I have no idea how many SnGs your "day profit" involved, but you should stop looking at profit per day and start looking at profit per SnG. Over a large number of games, don't expect to have an ROI (profit per SnG divided by the cost of the SnG) greater than 20%. If you do, great, you are playing very, very well. But there are few people who do that well. Even 20% is great. So unless you played 38+ games yesterday (i.e. spent $250+ to make a profit of $50+), you just had a great day. Don't think every day is going to be like that.
And yes, what gar and cute said is applicable as well. Your ROI will likely drop a bit as you multitable, since your attention is not completely on one game, but your $/hr will also likely increase. |

I'm very new to this (disclaimer) but I've experienced similar hot/cold streaks based on the day/time I'm playing. I'm sure this theory is covered elsewhere on the site but based on my experience I think you can expect a different level of competition on a Saturday morning than a weekday afternoon for instance.
Would love the pointer if there is a definitive thread on time/day trends.
Good Luck

| I know that I find morning in the US to be a more profitable time than afternoon or evening. People seem to play a tighter game at these times and arew easier to puit on a hand for me. Evening into night, people are nuts. Just my observations from the small amount I have played. |

| I agree people are nuts at evenings. When people are nuts, it increases profitability but also increases variance. As an example, someone eager to get all in with AQ vs. JJ preflop is behind but not by much. This seems to happen more often on weekend nights. If you play around bar closing time you can get people shoving in preflop with any ace rag in cash games... very profitable overt the long run, but they spike that ace often enough to drive you nuts in the short term. |

Well, since I am trying to build a bankroll from practically nothing (I won $4.75 in a private freeroll) I am looking for as little variance as possible. So far, so good. I don't play alot and have taken my BR to $16.75 over the last couple of weeks. I had one bad day in there, but have been profitable almost every session.
Maybe once I have a reasonable bankroll to play any level, I will look for the maniacs, but for now they are bad for those of us with a micro roll. Playing with them is a sure way to go busto for me at this point.

| It's hard to say without seeing HH or somehow getting more detail. I know I do worse when I multi-table "regular" SnGs, but I haven't really noticed a decline when I multi-table the super turbos, since overall the decision making and hand reading process is so much simpler in those games. Your mileage may vary. |

| For info on your time of day or day of week, you can go to sharkscope.com click on search database, enter your name, click search, then click on your name in red, then look for the "more options" bar to click on. Whew, then you can click "graph results by" day of week, or time of day, & check your stats, for some reason, Thursdays are my best, Fridays is my only losing day, Do more Bozo's take off on Friday's to call my KK all in with A rag?? |
