| ok...with poker books (in particular the full tilt tourny book edited by micheal craig) the main stuff you will basically already know how to do (power people out in later stages) but they do teach things such as how to hide your great hands or how to bluff at the pot |

| If you play alot of tourneys then I highly recommend Harrington's books. Vol. 2 The Endgame has some great info, especially for short stack play in the later stages of the game. I've applied his theories about inflection points in tourneys and what a difference it made. It amazes me to see short stacks fold and fold and fold with antes and high blinds while waiting for aces or kings. If they are lucky enough to get them they double up, but still have a small stack cause all the chips they've lost to blinds and antes. But more timed than not they are forced to go all in with a 10 9 and always get called becuase they've lost their fold equity. Looking forward to Harrington on cash. |

Ok so HoH I helped me a ton. and HoH II is on it's way to my house as we speak. (Definitely paid for itself because my bankroll went from $0 to $215)
I didn't enjoy Phil Gordon's Little Blue Book at all and consider it a waste of money (IMO)
I am looking to pick up the following books but am wanting to find them on eBay or someone selling them for really cheap somewhere.
1. Sit N Go Strategy
2. Full Tilt Strategy
3. Professional No Limit Hold'em |

Ok, just ordered Full Tilt Poker book for $15.99 including shipping on Amazon and is supposed to arrive Tuesday and Professional No Limit Hold'em for $19 and is due to arrive Friday. My HoH II should be arriving Friday too hopefully so I will have plenty of good reading for the next week
Definitely going to pick up Sit N Go Strategy soon so I can get into SnG's more often because right now I am about 95% tournament player. |

I have a problem I have both the leggo poker converter and the universal replayer. When I goto convert the Hand history file,by either copy pasting in text window,or using the browse for importing HH file, when I goto convert the file, the converter gives me the error message:
No Hand history detected and No valid Hand history in this file.
Now this doesnt make sense, because the HH text is right there,I can see all the details of the hand.
The question I have and this is the only thing I can think of is that the Hand history files in fulltilt poker cake poker poker stars UBNET Absolute poker etc, that are saved in my C:/program files/name of poker client/hand history, are done in notepad txt format files.
So I was thinking that either maybe if the hand histories are from x poker client, they have to be converted into that x poker client. But that wasnt the case. And so the only thing I can think of is that maybe .TXT notepad files are unconvertible and are not recognized as valid Hand history files, and that as such maybe the converter doesnt see the actual hand history in the TXT notepad files.
So is this the case? And if it is.How do I convert the TXT notepad files into files that the converters will read recognize and convert.
And if this is not the problem or shouldnt be the problem.
what is the problem or reason why I cant seem to convert the HH files, and how do I fix it so that I can convert the HH files?
So can anybody please help me with this?
It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

| Mikah, I've never run into that problem. Try asking the people at leggo, they're very helpful in my experience. You should be able to find an e-mail address on their site if you don't want to register for their forums just to ask about the converter. |
