I got sklansky on poker in the other day, with the special section in the back on razz. Smile yippeeeeeee.

See everyone thursday night for $1 razz tourney. Real high roller ain't i?

The basics in the book are only for high stakes play. Like 2/4 and higher I GUESS.

I'd disagree about the applicability of Sklansky on Poker. While it's true that Sklansky writes with higher stakes games in mind (15-30 and 30-60 are his models), he goes into sufficient detail about which sorts of tables/players to take a given action against and why you do it that if you think carefully about his instructions, you'll be able to apply what you know to low limit games (I don't think 2-4 would be remotely higher limits anyway).

Compared to even limit holdem, Razz is much more about making fundamentally correct plays so that much of the advice you'll get from Sklansky will still apply. You just have to do some work to figure out which parts of it apply. In that connection, having read the Theory of Poker is especially useful, because it explains many of the underlying concepts that Sklansky refers to throughout his work.
