I've been playing here for a couple weeks, doing well. Taking down the majority of sng's I entered in the 30.00 to 50.00 range, and was up about 3,000.00.

Then suddenly over the last week things have gotten rediculous.

Every person I run into that has a 25% or lower chance to hit does. It's to the point where when I see pocket 7's vs. my pocket k's. I know they'll hit. Or four card straight or flush.

when I hit trips the other person will have 2 pair and hit on the river. If I have a race, they'll win. If I have them dominated, they'll hit their kicker, or 4 card straight or flush.

I don't even know what to say at this point. It's just a shrug and nod scenario.

And it's not just me. In the last week I have seen full tilt change from a sane place, to a place where the best hand almost never wins.

I've heard many pro's say they have swings where they just can't win. So maybe this is that. But when literally 90% of the hands I'm all in, I have them at least a 2 to 1 dog, and usually 3 to 1. I've gotta assume somethings happening.

Anybody else start running into this recently? Or should I just ride the swing?

This exact post gets posted every week or two and it's not because FT rigs the cards every week or two.

I've been playing poker online for years, and off line for years longer, and never run into a streak this bad.

Trust me, I know what I'm doing in poker. And while I agree, the chance of rigged cards is retardedly low. having just had trips sucked out by a gut shot on the river yet again. I'm starting to grasp at anything that makes it make sense.

And hey, if you reward the bad players, they'll keep pumping money in.

Sorry, took me a second there, yet another gut shot just hit on me with 1 card to come.

Update: just lost a's in a all pot when the guy started with 900 chips with q'10. When he hit a gut shot on the turn. I raised to 300 pre flop, and 500 on the flop.

Update number 2: Just lost with top pair the next hand with q's when the guy runner, runner 4 card flushed.

I know how you feel. The first couple of weeks i was here i was up 300 bucks. But then for the next month or so i was getting the same thing you are feeling. So then I decided to keep track and see if its true or not. But the problem was it was definently true. I wrote down every time at least 2 to one favorite before the flop. Suprisingly I counted 34 times in one week. Which hurt my bank roll pretty badly. Then after that it started to slow down. I started winning the majority again. That was suprising but i guess that is how bad streaks and good streaks come. Shocked So you should get out of the slump pretty soon. So just keep working at it you will surely succed. P.S. I've lost with pocket Aces 3 times all in before the flop in the past 2 days with big money on the line. But after playing good I am still increasing my bank roll even after taking those not to pretty beats.

"I've never run into a streak this bad" isn't the same as "it's impossible for this bad a streak of luck to occur," now is it? These posts are getting really old. Also, it's "ridiculous."

Post being moved from Texas Hold 'Em forum to bad beats.

Yeah man I made the same kind of topic a few weeks ago when I almost lost my whole bankroll playing 2 full weeks of bad beats losing buy ins after buy ins every single day. I thought something was wrong with the cards too.. but hey I placed 2nd in a tournament with 570 players yesterday and didn't get a single bad beat so my bankroll is back up just fine. Can't whine about full tilt anymore but I sure have difficulties understanding donkeys calling with nothing

I love how whenever someone goes on a winning streak its because they are a great player, and then when they go on a losing streak its because the cards are "rediculous"
When you were winning the cards were "rediculous" for other people. Its poker, i frikkin hate losing too, some beats are tough to swallow, but you gotta move on.

The same has happened to me. Ever since the site outages I have lost over 200. Same thing, top 2 pair on the flop, go all in and get sucked out by runner, runner for a straight or flush. I can see trying with 4 cards to the straight or flush but not 3. It really gets upsetting when your playing good cards and get to the finial table of a tourny and someone sucks you out.
