Day 2a Mid-Session Money Pool Report
W. Chips Player Runners
1,109,950 gonefshng 8
1,081,300 brezinhill2009 5
883,200 fonzy4 6
775,650 david petina 6
750,125 feihua 4
669,250 caracara 8
454,850 dcdoorknob 3
444,825 nitrosawxcide 5
419,500 jd_x 6
fonzy4 had a nice run early and briefly took the lead, but then Mizrachi chipped way up for brezinhill2009. That made him the first over 1,000,000 thus retaking the lead. But then Julian Gardner showed up from nowhere with a healthy stack while Thor Hansen doubled up to hand the chip lead to gonefshng.
Pretty much everyone except nitro and myself has had a reason to cheer today, but there is still a long way to go! |

I saw both Kathy Liebert and Lindgren had busted out so day 2a over for my team. Nice to know Nam Le is still alive though. And Caracara, thanks for the updates, even if they haven't been that great for me and will get worse tomorrow.

A: Patrick Antonious 29,500
JR Bellande 79,800 (Day2b)
Greg 'DuckU' Hobson 21,700 (Day2b)
B: Chris Bjorin 93,500
Thomas 'Thunder' Keller 68,300 (Day 2b)
C: Kevin Song ????
I have seen no mention of Kevin Song busting out or still having chips, and I find it hard to believe he wouldn't play the ME. If anyone has seen anything on him, I would appreciate the info. Day 2a was a rough one for me, I lost Fricke as a C player, and Nick Shulman who started the day with a healthy stack as a B for me. Antonious started the day decent and even reached about 96,000 but failed to keep his chips by the end of the day. |

Midday Money Pool Report for Day 2B
W. Chips Player Runners
1,044,600 brezinhill2009 4
781,200 gonefshng 6
613,500 fonzy4 5
585,800 dcdoorknob 2
501,200 caracara 4
415,350 david petina 3
333,000 feihua 2
324,200 jd_x 2
28,800 nitrosawxcide 2
This assumes that Nam Le is still alive with 74K, but I have not had an actual recent confirmation that he is still alive in the event. Also Tony Dunst, Michael Binger and Allen Cunningham are all short stacked at the moment. |

I'm pretty sure that I'm down to 2 and it's my "all annoying team" of Phil Hellmuth and Mike Matusow. Nam Le is still a ???? but I've got to assume he's gone as initially reported, since I haven't seen a thing about him.
Also, I had my best finish in one of the Freerolls, but still only got 14th, so I was 4 off of the top 10 and a shot at the WSOP freeroll. Still, that makes about $27 bucks in free money so not too bad. I've got 3 more Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but I'll be out of town, so I guess I'm done except for possibly the main event. Good luck all, it's been fun.

A: Jacob
B: Gerasimov & Medic
C: Josephy, Habib, Cantu
All with healthy stacks except for Jacob
Still lots of poker to be played, but I like my freeroll chances as long as Hellmuth, Matusow and Chan don't go deep.
Geez, still hard to believe that they won't play the final table until November... I just can't see it catching on. It would be like playing the Super Bowl in May. |

I think Jacob is out Pete.
Speaking of being out, that is my status with the Main Event. All 15 of my players busted before Day 3. Good luck to all who remain. |
