See my post 'qs about 3 limit he hands' in this forum for details about table etc.
Are these hands worth opening PF raises in LHE?
As a general rule, should my PF opening range be tighter in LHE than in NLHE?

| I'd start opening both those hands one seat later than the one you're in in the examples. For me to open them in the seats you're in they'd have to be suited. |

I hope you open raise both of those. The A9 is a bit more marginal if you have a laggy image as people will call you more with worse hands, so you may need to give up later if faced with any aggression.
Generally, I play less hands in LHE than I do in NLHE, and there's generally no point in stealing with trash from LP as nobody seems to fold the BB. |

| I agree with fire eyes, raise both. As far as LHE vs NLHE you shouldn't think about how many hands you open with between the two, but what type of hands are better for each game. NLHE is a game where your looking to win big pots so hands like small pairs and suited connectors have alot of value. In LHE your looking to win alot of medium size pots so hands that can make top pair are worth alot, and small pairs and suited connectors don't have as much value. |

| I agree mostly with FE. Open raise the AJ, and you should generally be playing less hands in limit than in NL. The only one i'm iffy on is the A9. I'd say this is table and image dependent. Generally, when i raise PF in limit, its because i want my opponent(s) to call. With a hand like A9 i think i want them to fold. It's the type of hand where only hitting an Ace is going make you feel good, yet that Ace would probably kill any further action, especially heads up. |
