i was reading that post about barry greenstein's post and he said something about phil ivey's book. is he coming out with a book? if he is when is it coming out? i would really like to read it. if i was phil ivey i wouldn't give away all my secrets just like doyle did.

i doubt that ivey would write a book at this stage of his poker career. He is only 27 and he's got otehr things to do...like play andy beal.

Ivey is such a situational player that I don't think he could comminucate his success neccesarily. In the Bluff Forum, the pros were discussing playing Beal, but couldn't always communicate their theories on him...just another level completely.

i also seriously doubt ivey would be coming out with a book... a large part of his game is based on his gut feelings/instincts, and things like this cant be taught from one player to another... you must learn how to develop that "feel" for yourself...

yea...and if u watch the lake tahoe curcuit event telecast(i think thats the one) he says that math isn't a big part of his game.
