I know you get a point a dollar but don't you get given a certain amount of chips for the tournament anyway? How long would it take to raise about 1200 points, also how many tournaments would I need to enter. I don't really want to play ring games. For every $1 in rake you pay for MTT or S&G you earn 7 ftp points. Not sure what u mean but you dont get any ftp points playing play money. Most MTT's give you 1500 chips to start. Unless DS which you start with 3000 chips. You only get points for the original rake paid to enter the tourney.
