Is that how you spell it? lol I dunno I don't pay attention to spelling. I hear the term colluding all the time, and I read some about it. My understanding is that collusion is where a group of two or more people that know eachother, or are the same person, play at the same table. I don't see how this would help you...
How would that help you? What does a colluder do? I mean... just cause they know a few of the hands held on the table, what about the hands that they don't know. Someone explain to me. Thanks.
Oh, and I have another question. haha I see people say "imo" in these forums. What's that mean? I'm clueless on abbreviations. The only one I know is "lol". lol
Thanks for the help. |

Few things colluders can do:
- know more cards than the rest of the people, so their odds calcs are "better"
- build pots between them so that one of them can take it down |

| FTP is always on the lookout for collusion. It's not an easy thing to do and isn't ever anything I ever worry about at a table. There are some measures in place now such as two same IP addresses cannot play a SnG together. You can find further information in the General Questions section. |

| I'm at the real money tables on here and other poker sites, and for the most part, I'm not worried about collusion. If someone has to resort to it, they're probably not a very good player to begin with. |

Is this correct gypsydc? Both my wife and I are registered at FTP and, should we want to play at the same time the connection would appear to come from the same, single, static IP our broadband connection has. This is due to the NAT functionality between our home network and the wider internet. Does that mean the second connection would be rejected or we would/could be flagged as colluding? Or, will it just mean we cannot play the same game together?
thanks. |
