Bumpage?
Sorry this is so long... I'm not sure if it is helpful to people or not (I know I've forgotten most of the game at this point), but there's not too much more. Smile

Meh, I don't think I'm getting called OTF by much that I beat, and there isn't much I'm afraid of showing up OTT. I think a turn bet is necessary, though. In an effort to speed things up a bit, I'll just post the rest of the hand and go on to the next one...

I like raising to 400, 2.5x BB. You don't reeeeeeally mind a call here, you've got live suited gappers, and it's always possible to flop quads Wink

Folding isn't bad (I'd even say its standard at least for a TAG), since you only have a really low suited one gapper, but I'm guessing you didn't. It's hard for me to say that any option is really wrong here (well, pushing all in is probably bad Very Happy), but the raise to 400 seems like a good idea if you are going to play the hand.

Waiting until the turn to bet the previous hand is fine with me.

I decided to slow play that monster hand. Didn't get much value for it, though. (For the record, I think limping PF like this is terrible. No idea why I did it...)

Depends what your looking for in my opinion. I don't like building a pot with J-Qs when a lot of hands that would call would have me beat if not dominated. But with your style i believe there is no problem in raising. Taking the blinds would be nice, but if you get a call you still have a decent hand to play. I would raise 2.5xBB (like Dizzle suggested), correct me if I'm wrong but the blinds are big enough you could probably get the same result from 2.5xBB raise as a 3 or 4xBB raise.

I fold, I don't like raising in this spot when BB has <10x BB. He's liable to push with any 2 high cards, in which situation you're probably behind. Any ace, where you'd probably be 60/40, or just resteal the pot and you can't call it with JQs. I lay it down

I think QJs is normally perfectly fine raising hand in this position. JDizzle does make a good point about the BB, but still I'd hedge towards a raise to 500. You can probably fold to a shove from BB, but that's not the end of the world, and what about all the times everyone folds?

Good call. Why I raised to 700 I have no idea. I can't really remember this SnG anymore, unfortunately. But I like all the suggestions of raising to 500 or folding.

Anyway, what do I do facing this shove? 2726 in the pot. 1226 to call.

I call strictly because of that. I don't like calling per se, figuring to be behind 80% of the time, but the odds scream call with high suited connectors. IMO best case situation now would be he has JQ QT or a lower PP and you're a flip. If he was just trying to resteal, terrible play on BB's part not realising you almost always make this call

If you raised to 500 to begin with, I'd say fold.
