| Wow, I forgot how much of a donkfest these things are. I can't wait to see my Limit Omaha8 freeroll later on, that should be just as fun. |

| LO8 is mindnumbingly annoying. Nobody knows how to play. Nobody EVER folds. and Flopping top set on a A T 6 board won't win you the damned pot. |

| donk and dead seat fest! I assume only a third of the field shows up making accumulating chips like taking candy from babies....who aren't there to enjoy the candy. Then all I have to do is wait an hour to hour and a half and i've made at least $3. My last finishes: 45th, 29th, 145th. BR is now over $14! I have a stud tourney in a few hours which I don't expect to cash but meh, might as well give it a try. I wish they'd have these all year long because if they did, within two weeks I'd have a BR of $50 or more. |

| Thank you, I totally forgot I had a freeroll today. I logged on FTP and checked my tournaments registered in... shows my tourney starts in 12 minutes. I would've missed it had I not seen this thread, thank you. |

These frickin freeroll players are so fn bad!!!
My new plan of attack is to just register for them and sit out to make my free $3.. It's almost pointless to play.
flop:444
I hold pocket Js.. donk raises, I come over the top aww eeen, he calls and flips over AK os.
board ends up:44434 |

Man, i love these freerolls. Let the donks give their chips away and in less than a week you can sit at the .05/.10 cash tables.
In the stud event (#14) I did a lot better than I expected. Starting out I only had two other live players at my table so I kept up my aggression and speculated at the right times and I built my stack to over 7K. I was then moved to a table with big stacks and I tried to assert myself a couple times, never worked. Under 200 left I had my stack to 14K because there were so many calling stations and chasers, it was ridiculous! The guy directly to my left called every completion and at least chased to fifth street on almost every other hand. He was up to 10K but a half hour later, his luck ran out, SS's himself and was out. I made one mistake going for a flush and straight but had to fold to a possibly higher flush. Down to 8K I was dealt K8K, raised it and got one caller. After another pop and a call I'm down to about 4K and now committed to the hand. by six street I make 2 pair and a flush draw (so my outs are any K, 8 or . I look over and I see he either has a str8 or flush. He pushes me allin and I call. 7th for me is 10 and he shows exactly what I figured....one of those two hands and I'm out.
Event #6 was limit O8 which I played like an idiot. I was playing lowball hands with 3 other live players instead of playing it like regular Omaha and going for the scoop. And I've thought O8 was my better game. You best believe I correcting my strategy for the event 37 freeroll. |
