Why did I check the turn? Any other thoughts?

I don't understand the turn check either. Seems like the guy had 78 or something . . .

He had 22 so in the results oriented world checking the turn probably made me the most money.

Check is pretty bad vs this villian.

I would bet around $10ish OTR though to make it look more like a bluff, and it would also simply get more value from 87 or 66 type of hands that have marginal pairs on the flop.
