i think there im shoving 99% or the time due to ure stack size. u still have about 85 hands to find a better spot but unless hes been playing super tight and u know he has aces my moneys in.

Gotta shove. Watched a hand like this yesterday in 90 man S&G.

First in had 99
Second shoved with AJ
Third shoved with TT
Fourth shoved with QQ

Lady's held up.

I folded 85s and would have won, not only with a flush, but a straight flush. But no way I could shove that pre-flop after 3 people already All In.

This is a tricky one but I must say to me its a must call. I base that on the preflop play and more importantly your stack size vs. blinds. I cant see passing qq here with the chance to triple up at least when your shortstacked.

Miss Kiwi could be on a very wide range of hands. Im not too concerned with her.

BustDaBabys play makes me imediatly think hes on a big ace or a medium pair and wants to isolate. If he had aces or kings youd think a call trying to entice more action (reraise from utg?) would be the play.

The utg raiser is a concern for sure. But with only 10x the bb left in my stack I see no choice but to call and hope hes on a so so hand It was a min raise which doesnt make me think hes on a huge hand . If he is on aces or kings then so be it id lose most likely and just try again tommorow. AT some point your going to have to gamble im gambling right here utg is folding. I dont see that you have any other choice but to play it that way.

So putting the pieces toghether im calling thinking ive got Miss Kitti beat and bustababy and I are going to coinflip for it as I believe the utg will fold. Im getting 3-1 or so on my money for a hand im figuring to be a slight favorite in.

Im willing to gamble here in this situation.

I woulda called man, anyone can see you hit the queens. How did you miss it?

Seriously tho.. I would most likely call here depending on how close I was to the money. With the raises/reraises I would be expecting a race at best and would probably lose to someone holding K, 9.

It is a term I learned in Dan Harrington's books. Add the blinds and antes together then divide your stack by that total and you get your M. If the blinds are 60/120 and your stack is 1800, you have an M of 10.

He has specific strategies for you to follow when you M changes. At 20+ you are pretty much free to play aggressive and play the occassional speculative hands, bluff, etc. When your M gets down to the 5 or less range, he says your only option is to pick a hand and shove all in. There are "rules" and suggestions on hands to avoid for M's of 5-10 and 10-20.

If you have not read his books yet, they are certainly worth getting and reading.
