Thanks for offering innovative tournament structures like the Doubles, Single Table Super-Turbo Sit & Go’s (I think there would be demand for multi-table super-turbo tournaments too) and Knockout Tournaments.

Here is an idea for a new tournament structure that I think players here would also enjoy: Liquid Rebuy Tournaments

The tournament is different from a normal rebuy-tournament in the following ways:
MULTIPLE REBUY LEVELS
- Players may rebuy up to 5-times at any time up to the first break
o For example: in a $1 Liquid Rebuy Tournament a player may make up to 5 rebuys (for $5) to a maximum of 5000 chips (1000 x 5).
HEDGING YOUR BETS
- Player who have an “in the money” position at each of the breaks earn the option of hedging their bets and selling their chips back. They would see a pop-up at the start of the break with an offer to buy-back the players chips.
o Imagine the following scenario:
• 100 Players Buy-In to a $10 Liquid Rebuy tournament
• Over the course of the first hour the players make an additional 400 rebuys for a total prize pool = $5,000 and 500,000 chips in play.
• The Top 10 Players (in the money positions) at each break get the pop-up that offers them the option to sell their chips.
• If the top player had accumulated 75,000 chips he/she is offered $600 [Total Prize Pool x Players Chips/Total Chips] x .80 (see next point)
• 20% (in this case $150) would be returned back to the prize pool to the benefit of the players who choose to play on. If the player chooses to exit the tournament $600 is removed from the prize pool and the player's chips are retired (leaving 425,000 chips competing for a prize pool of $4,400)

So, while the prize pool will be reduced when players take the option all players will move up another spot and have a better chance of cashing.

This structure would also increase the importance (and excitement) of play right before the breaks (as players try to position themselves inside the money).

I don't like this at all.
