| although i know a lot of young cocky players, that think agression is the only way to play,it is not keep on calling those raise when you know or think your beat,and us old men will keep taking your money, i was recently in a cash game at my local moo se lodge where a young man got lucky on me, and thought his play, was so good, i tried to explain to him where he made his mistake , but like most young cocky players he laught and said he would do the same move again, i ha gamed a Kh 8h young gun whom is agressive raise to 8 in a 1 2 cash game, every one else folded, i simply called , flop comes 4h 7h 8c i am now on a flush draw, young cocky bets $16 i raise to $32 he says well i gotta call i think i am beat but it only ANOTHER $16 to call since i was all in we turn over cards he holds a 3d8s wow top pair , although i did not get my flush, and he won with a pair of 8's the call of my reraise , when you think youy beat was stupid, people there is no such thing as pot committed in a cash, if you think your beat or havea limited number of outs as he did , please be smart enough to lay down a hand , although he won this on he was still down by $300 for the night, agressive play is not always the right play, keep on calling us old men and we will send you home broke and crying to mommy .[/list] |

| No. I call everything when I think I'm beat if I have more than 1 out. Runner runner possibilities give me odds to call anything better than 1.2:1 |

Didn't know just calling and limping was being aggressive. I don't know if i misread or not, but I think you said you held K8h and he had 3d8s, would that mean you won the hand then due to your K?

Umm...
A) Not likely.
B) I'll take the over.
C) I'll take the under.
D) It also proves alot of other things.
E) I didn't really expect it to improve anyones game tbh. |
