| Hey. Anyone else noticed how soft the OH8 sit and go's are? I seem to win / cash at these atleast 2 times as often as I am cashing at the holdem sit and go's. These are especially easy at the 6 and 11 $ levels. |

I sure don't, but on the occasion I do play these I am almost always less bad than my opponents, an achievement which shouldn't be easy to achieve but that many make look very easy, so I do agree with these being really soft. |

A few months back, I went to go register for a NLHE $11 turbo, and after the first hand was dealt I realized I got in Omaha by mistake. I had never even played in a real money Omaha game before, and I ended up winning it.
Maybe I should actually try to learn this game |

| I noticed that the Omaha 8 Sit and Go's are full of Donkeys. For some reason, Omaha 8 Sit and Go's seem to attract more than their share of maniacs. It's great if you hit you hands, but it can be frustrating to fold your Ace-deuce-wheel hands after getting a high flop after the maniacs four bet it because you know they will cap it on every street. |

| I like them because I have two shots to win each hand. I can suck out for either the high or for the low. It doubles my chances. |

No joke... the first time I actually played one was a complete accident. I signed up for the wrong SNG.
Anyway, I figured I have good poker knowledge, and the game can't be that hard to figure out. I ended up taking first solely because of the number of people who apparently had less of an idea of what was going on than I did.
You are correct... they're very soft. People will run with any hand just to see the flop and hope they draw a monster. |
