I can't find the hand to post but it's been bugging me all day, so here was the situation. Cash full ring game $2/4, deep stacks.
I get KcKs UTG, raise 4x, UTG+1 (65/15, only about 30 hands on him) calls, 7 folds.
Flop is Axx all diamonds. I bet 2/3 pot, he calls.
Turn is a random small club.
I bet and folded to his rr, just not sure I played it right, but don't know what else I could do. |

| tough to say with how much information you left out (exact cards, stack sizes, bet sizes) but i'd say it's a toss up between checking/betting turn. on one hand you really just want to get to showdown, but on the other hand a guy that loose can definitely be calling down with lots of stuff you have beat. still, he could often make a bet on the river, and you will have no idea where you stand. so i'm leaning towards check, just because the river will be quite a bit easier to play if the pot is smaller. |

| IMHO if you are going to bet both the flop and turn, that money would be better spent check/raising the flop. Same amount of money, more FE, no free card for your opponent. Although I suppose sometimes you won't get to the turn because you opponent with raise OTF. I don't know how much I agree with spending that much here, anyway, though. |

| We don't want FE if we bet turn. The reason for betting is to get paid by FDs and possibly pairs lower than ours. On a A-high boards those types of bets tend to be thin at best though. |
