| Is that any good? I leak profit away in cash games (no mo.) I need a higher return on my money. |

If you mean 27 1st place finishes this is a silly question. Hell, even if it's 27 ITM it's a silly question.
Seriously, all I can say is keep a record of all games you have played and conduct some basic analysis of your profit/time return.
I would suggest trying higher buy-in SnG's if your bankroll will support it. |

Just work out your ROI (Return on Investment)... which is (total profit/total buy-ins+fees)x100... In the last 2 days I have played 16 SnG's and cashed in 12 of them, for an ROI of 129.89%... something I am very pleased with! |

| That's really good. You want to have an ITM% of at least 35-40% to show a good ROI. After that its just increasing your winning percentage, which looks like you have no trouble with. If you have about 30 buy-ins for the next level I say give it a shot. |

I'm looking for some software to make record keeping easier for me. I might try PT or Poker office, maybe excel. I'm going to multi the 10+1's in 2 weeks; I'm taking a break from poker and retooling (reading and such.)
and Stay Away from the Ring Games- I have to remind myself daily.
I'm actually on a bit of dwnward spiral according to Poker Prophecy. I'm thinking about creating a new acct, as to start fresh, anew, with accurate numbers.
Anyone else find poker prophecy useful/ |

You can build a good one in Excel which, beyond the time to do the initial setup, is pretty easy to maintain. Just use formulas so you plug in your buyin for each tourney, your rank, and what you cash for. You can program other columns to show you ROI%, ITM%, etc.
On mine I also have a comments section on the other players and I have two comments columns for myself. One is for how I played strategy-wise (too tight, doubled up early, was short-stacked early, etc.). The other column on me is my disposition--am I tired, do I have to do something with my wife soon that might have made me rush, was I playing with one eye, watching TV with the other--in other words, was I playing optimally or was I distracted? |
