Edit: I was indeed confused about which player you were shoving against, so my post was pretty much meaningless.

Most people, even short stacked, will shove with any pair, any ace, or any king, all of which have you in trouble. I guess the min-raise could be an attempt to sneak in with something like suited connectors, but most likely, I'm guessing he has A/x, K/x, or a pair, and is looking to shove, but figures an outright shove would scare off anyone that would have to put in 1/3 of their stack to look him up.

So here was my line of thinking:

An extremely common play after losing a big pot and ending up shortstacked is to shove the next hand if you are dealt something good. This happens all the time, because players think they will be called lighter by players who think they are tilting. (And they are correct, they do get called lighter.)

Another extremely common play after losing a big pot and ending up shortstacked is to raise anything that seems remotely good (i.e. tilt).

If he has a great hand, why is he only minraising here instead of shoving? It doesn't make any sense to me. It looks much more like he is raising because he is tilting a bit.

He also still has plenty of chips behind him, and by the time it gets to me he has had time to think about whether he really wants to get all in with whatever he is holding, especially after I just saw him do exactly the same thing with AKs, but I pushed all in anyway.

Even if he has a mid/low pair or A-rag, I'm not that far behind if he can't let go of it.

This is why I need a line check. I don't know if I'm crazy, or if this makes sense. Smile

Right now it seems like the needle is swinging in the crazy direction...

If you really think he is raising a big range here because he is a little on tilt then why not just call and reevaluate on the flop? A whole bunch of his "tilt" raising hands are beating you here. Really almost all of them and if he is tilty he's a lot more likely to call and be correct to do so. Obv that's very bad for you.

What's his "tilt" range here? Something like: 22+, Ax, Kxs, any two facecards etc. Pretty much that whole range is ahead of you. I think you'll make much more in the longrun in a spot like this(assuming you are correct that he is tilty here) by calling and value betting the **** out of him when he catches a little something and feels like he's being picked on and can't let it go.

I think you are way over-thinking this. Fold equity seems pretty minimal (I would expect the guy to call fairly wide here, weather he's tilting or not), and with such knowledge QJo is just not nearly strong enough to make this move.

Also, you say 6 max in the title, but why do I count 7 people then?
