| Real quick, i know you can have 2 accounts in the same house, and i know playing at the same real money table is bad, but what about the same tournament, specifically the $30,000's and above. Would Full tilt ban your account if you played in the same tournament under the same roof? Thanks for your answers. |

To be safe I'd definately e-mail them...
If I had to guess I'd say not to do it because it could definately be a problem with cheating and such if you guys end up in the same table....probably not a good idea |

| Given today's climate with JJPodigy and Justin admitting cheating in majors, I'd say the sites are being more careful than ever and probably won't tolerate this. And they shouldn't tolerate it. Online poker doesn't need the black eye of cheats, and if you were to win one and it were to come out that you and your roommate were in the same tourney, from the same house, it would not be received well. |

There's been big discussions on this since the PS scandle. I don't know all the details but these players used multiple accounts from the same IP to their advantage which is as we all know, collusion (a form of cheating)!
My fiance and I both have accounts and have two computers. But for fear of being called a cheater by FT and get banned I will not attempt it.
As for the question at hand, I think if the people are at Full Tilt are wise they will not tollerate multiple accounts from the same IP in any tourney or sng! So I hope that support answers your question with a large NO! Sorry but thats the way it has to be in order to prevent the possibility of any kind of cheating.
I do have one question though. What if I was to get a private table set up for a bunch of friends including my fiance. Could it be okay as long as my friends were okay with it? |

There's a sticky about this - you should read it. Basically, it says that its ok to have two accounts from the same IP - just don't sit at the same table. |

Yeah, I think I read that. But I was referring to the the original question about multiple accounts playing in the same tourney from the same IP. Sure the chance at ending up at the same table is slim, it could still happen.
The other issue is people using instant messaging or telephones to get an advantage. I'm sure it happens quite often but that version is much more difficult to track. Cheaters ruin every type of game you can play online, including poker. |

It's not that slim to concieve one could end up at the same table, especially later on in the tournament. There was a detailed post about this in 2+2 about the ZeeJustin and JJProdigy dilemmas, and the odds it will occur.
If anyone is curious about the post, it was by sirio11, and is located here:
