A raise to 200 is begging for a call. I'd reraise to 500, if he pushes, you're defintiely beat or at best vs AK.

But then again, there are many donks at $2.25 games, so I'd just shove too Very Happy

Shove, no question. If you're up against AA or KK, well, ouch. Up against anything else, you're at least a slight favorite. And especially in a $2 SnG, you run into plenty of people that think AXs is shove worthy.

Take his chips.

Im not totally against shoving here, but I prolly dont do it. I call 200 and if I still have an overpair on the flop I will get it all in if needed. If an A or K on the flop I may get away from it but thats just me. Rather than spending the other 300 chips to rereaise him pre I would call, see the flop, and lead out 500 at him on flop if its an overpair. If an A or K on flop i woud bet 300 at the flop and fold if he shoves. This cost you the same amount but gets you more info about his hand, i think anyway. I also find that bad players tend to fold easier post flop than pre flop when they miss, but they have to see the flop if they like their hole cards even if it means calling to much or going all in.

Now that can be good and bad because if you push and he calls with QJ or something its great. But i like to keep things more under my control and avoid putting it all in beore the flop this early on without AA vs 2 dollar players.

I think alot of how you play this one depends on your style. If you are not a +ROI player at these, shoving is probaly a good option here, as its a good chance for you to get chips early and actually cash. If you cash on a regular basis and feel confident in your game, play it like I do and if you have to let it go you can still win the game. There are still a lot more hands and easier spots to pick up chips.

Now if you have to call an all in for some reason I think I do make that call pre flop with this hand this early. I cant see folding it, but I avoid it if I can. I am always looking to play the flop this early if I can as a best case scenerio, calling the all in would be worste case scenario for me but I woud do it.
