I too like Pete's ideas. Playing other games like PL Omaha and maybe even the evil Razz as a 10 week event each might be fun. It would atleast change things up a bit. If we make them 10 week tournies, I don't think people will loose interest. Personally, I always thought 20 weeks was too long but that's just the way it's always been.

I don't really care which day is picked. I personally picked Monday. I would just request for selfish reasons, that the time be later for us west coast folks. My 2 pennies FWIW............

I do like the shorter season idea too. I think 12 weeks, 8 or 9 count is a good idea. I would say a weekday night, maybe 20:30 or 21:00 to give everyone a chance.

Also, if we're going to throw in different games, what about Omaha8 or Stud8?

Any day is fine with me, as I lose just as much on Monday as I do on Thursday. As for the time I would have to say anytime after 2000 server time, due to family.

If you have it Sun-Thur pretty much only US players can play. If its fri or say, anyone can play. Obv US players are the majority but a bit annoying for us. Having said that, im not 100% I can play anyway lol. 10 weeks is good idea. Stew

Glad to be back on Full Tilt and cant wait for the tournaments to start. When will we be starting back up? Sunday would be best but really any day is decent as long as its 9:00 or after.

Looks like mostly everyone wants to shorten the season too. I like 15 weeks with 12 weeks counting. What do you guys think?

Also what time is good for the tournaments?

Well, guess I'm a little late for the voting...given that I am hated by most, I am guessing my vote doesn't count anyways Smile

I am happy with Sunday nights, though I feel badly for our European friends. That said, Friday or Saturday nights are an absolutely atrocious time! Don't you guys and gals get out and do stuff on the weekends? Last place I wanna be at 10pm on Friday night is in my apartment in front of a computer!

As for time, I am flexible on Sunday nights.

I am ok with a shorter season. 10 weeks seems a little too short to me. I know it's all about fun, but 10 weeks isn't enough time to allow the cream to rise to the top. Hell, even 20 weeks isn't enough time, because I had no business winning season 3! For all my bragging, I readily admit to not being a world class player. But 20 weeks does drag on and can be a commitment...I like 15, count 12. Anyway we can make it so that you just count your best 12 rather than the first 12 you play? So if you're able to make all 15, you get a bit of an edge for your commitment? I will miss at least 2 weeks, depending on when we start, so I don't make this argument for selfish reasons.

It was a great season last time around and I will be on my best behavior this time around. Thanks for organizing!
