Howdy ya'll, I'm new to this here forum and I thought I would give it a try. I play on this site and two other ones. I've been playing for a few years now and I would like some tips on how I could change my luck . I hear tell ya can make your own luck. But no matter what I try , I still can't seem to change my bad luck. I know bad beats and suck outs are just part of the game, but it seems to happen to me more times than what should be normal, ( or is that just me?) I'm hoping you all can give me a little help on what I should try to change my luck. I know there isn't anything that can be done for bad beats and suck outs, but maybe, with your help, I can change my luck. Thank you for any tips.

Hi and welcome to the forum. It helps to read a lot of good strategy posts. Everyone has a different style of playing and most of the time they are helpful. you can learn a lot by just reading what people have to say. Also there are a lot of good books out there you can read. if you go to the fulltilt store you can get some good titles of some books to read. A lot people say Harringtons books on holdem are really good books to read. (i have not read them yet but will when i get a chance.) Good Luck and once again welcome.

Can't really change luck the cards will come either way. Just try to play fundamental poker and the wins will outweigh the losses that do occur.

Thank you but sometimes I think I could have 4 aces, ten hands in a row and not win a one of them. That's the way my luck runs. But I still keep on trying anyway. Never give up , right? I won't say I can't win because like they say " Can't never did anything."

I know how it feels but if you look back in the long run the avg's work out to what they should be for your hands to hold up.
