(apologies in advance for not having hand history)
This is, to the best of my recollection, a hand I played in Sunday's Main Event. Here are the obvious bits of info:
-About 1600 players left.
-Just under 700 get paid
-Blinds 250/500 ante 25
-Villain and the player to his left were taking turns raising virtually every unopened pot with a bet around 1200, regardless of position.
-Me and villain both have about 20k, villain barely has me covered
Hero: A  Q 
UTG Folds
UTG+1 Folds
Villain raises to 1250
Player A Folds
Player B Folds
Hero raises to 3600
Button Folds
SB Folds
BB Folds
Villain raises All-In for 20k
Hero......
What is your play based on the info given? Do you risk your tourney with AQ to a very agressive play? Or do you give up the hand knowing that you'll still have an above-average stack? Think about it for a minute, then read below...

One extra bit of info: The previous hand, UTG made the same 1200 raise, I reraised 3k and folded to his re-reraise. Does your play change based on the knowledge that he just saw you surrender this same bet the hand before? |

| As much as it stinks...you have to fold. He wouldnt go that far to risk his tourney life with anything less then premium. I would like to know what you did this hand. |

| so why did you change your bet size here to 3600 when your previous raise was 3000? IMO it's only a good raise if you plan on calling the push. How has the table been reacting to just cold calling the raise? Are they squeezing? If they haven't been squeezing, why not just call and try to play after the flop? |

Yeah, I gotta say, knowing this guy is willing to defend his initial raises with all in pushes, I would have just called here and gone to the flop with the intent of laying out a C-bet against a timid board.
As it stands, I'd fold, and in the future only reraise the guy with a top five starting hand. |

I think you misunderstood the original post. On the previous hand, it was a different player that re-reraised me. Against this player, I had no way of knowing he'd defend his initial raise.
I didn't put much stock in his initial raise, since he had been making that raise very often. Because he made his 'normal' raise, I figured it highly unlikely that he had a very strong hand, and I put him on any ace down to A 10 suited, or any pair down to 9. Normally in this situation, I'd figure it's about 50/50, and I'd fold since I'm still in good shape in the tourney.
But the fact that he 'copied' a raise I folded to against a different player the hand before also told me I could add the good possibility of a stone-cold bluff to his range. I used this as the determining factor, and I called him. He showed 10 7 suited, and hit a 10 on the turn   .
This read I actually made twice in this tourney. Both times, I folded the first time, and a different player made the same exact play against me the next hand. If it were the same player making the same play, I could just accept it as his playstyle. But when I see a player repeat a bet from the previous hand, he's usually expecting the same result as the previous hand. Like any other poker play, it's nowhere near 100%, but it has proven a pretty reliable tell for me. |
