Hello

I tried to bluff- push this hand.
Oppenent was pretty passive that's why.

What should be my play on the river ?
I think checking was bad and my opp put me on a missed draw or a bluff(which it was...)...
Any comments ?

TY
Mat

No, checking the river was good. Now fold. As for the rest of the hand, I'd bet a bit more on the flop and then not put any more money in unless a good card hit or I improved. That 3 isn't a good card for a 2nd barrel vs. most villains because it isn't going to make them like whatever they have less than they did on the flop.

If you do get a good turn card and decide to bet, bet bigger. That little bet is going to be way too tempting for so many players. Oh and fold PF, raising A7o from the SB after a limp is going to be pretty terrible against most players.

It looks like you really need to learn how to give a hand up when it's hopeless. You don't have to win every pot, and blindly throwing money into the middle trying to do so is going to make it really hard for you to win.

TY 4 ur help Smile)

Sometimes it's so easy to push people from the pot by shoving that it try it maybe too much, without thinking at 2nd or level, or even really see where i can go with my own cards.
Fish thing I guess...

I'm not totally against the pre-flop raise. Against 3 players, the ace might be best there. The only thing that's going to kill you here is position after the flop. With that being said, I'd probably just call from the SB to see the flop.

The flop bet wasn't a bad play at the pot, but like Riddim said, I'd put a little more in. Invest a little more on the flop, and you may not have to throw a second bet out on the turn. Best play on the turn is a check. The 3 isn't going to stop the villain from chasing either a straight or flush draw.

Calling the river would be pretty ridiculous spew. Any hand that had a draw on the flop now has you beat. Your only hope is that he was calling the flop and turn with absolutely nothing in hopes of stealing it away on the river. That just isn't going to happen very often.

As Riddim said, raising preflop here isn't good at all because of how difficult this hand will be to play postflop out of position. You won't hit very often, and even when you do it'll usually be a weak pair.
