5:1 pot odds with a 5:1 completion of your straight...odds alone say it's even money...lol. Plus as early in the game as it is. Figure Mezzo is calling cause he has the stack to see another card, since he checked first pass and didn't re-raise. With the other three, I'd be looking for pairing, or a flush chaser. I'd go ahead and call to see another card, but that's why I'm not really that good.

I'll play... outs galore and half the deck is a scare card if you miss on the turn. You may get to the river cheap or have a steal opportunity. Even if you don't you're getting awesome implied odds to see the turn.

Its a trick question Razz , you check and let camg88 bet, then you checkraise him 3x what he bet, then shove the river
imo

How near the start of the tourney is it cos someone has 10k chips, or is it a rebuy? I'm happy to play on on the flop getting 5:1, and on the turn a check is fine. Hopefully it will be raise call call call, in which case I'd shove to shut out the club draws and try to get someone to make a silly call. Check/flatt the turn is NOT a good idea IMO, you need to c/r it, and if you think the flop bettor won't bet then lead, as you may get a 2pr or set to raise it for you.

Still in the first level, blinds are 15/30. No it is not a rebuy.

Given your position, any bet here is like a public service announcement that you hit what you were aiming at. Calling earlier just said you were getting good odds to chase. I would have checked and seen what camG88 is going to do. Depending on if he bets, you might get an extra bit out of Mezzo, who I believe will fold to any bet of a half pot or higher. Either way, I figure a check raise will pull anyone who called behind you into the pot, cause most feel like it's an attempted steal rather than a ploy to just get more money into the pot. Then it's just a matter of hoping the chaser doesn't hit the flush draw. That's the way I read it anyhow. I'm probably way off base though.

Honestly, I would probably check/fold at this point. Any bet is going to seriously cripple you cause you are down to @1900 chippies, and odds are you had at least one person trying to draw to a flush out of the others in the pot. or even worse, he caught his boat. It's either a shove or fold situation IMO, cause nothing else is chasing them away. Being early with the blinds so low, there is a chance to recoup your loss from this hand and still go rather deep within the tourney.

Yeah the rest of the hand plays itself out. Thanks for all the help with the turn.

I was thinking that there is to many donks that don't know how to fold anything at start of these tourneys, and was trying to build the pot, but the river killed it all. (F**)

Well looks like im in the vast minority here but im folding this hand after the flop for a few reasons. #1 is its the first freakin round of the tourny and im not about to commit this many chips this early with the flush draw out there and 4 people allready in. You really only have 6 outs and thats assuming no 1 is on 10j. Very possible your allready behind a set at this point as well.

Since you played on however I really cant fault your play much after the turn. No way im risking a check here after that turn card, with that board and 4 in with you. Im betting pot or more here.

To me the problem was the flop call with that many people in the hand. Xtra credit to u however for the river lay down.

Out of curiosity, where do you get "6" outs?

4 outs for each end of the open end straight, but 2 of them are clubs, hence 6 outs.
