Not trying to attack you or anything RC, but are you trying to say that SS is for fish? I find it useful, at least entertaining ahha, to know someone's ROI. Now, I don't use it to put people down or anything of that sort, but it is interesting when someone relentlessesly talks down on the table and you find them to have a -20% ROI.

And although there it is possible a -ROI could simply be the effect of a learning curve, I don't think my ROI on SS has ever been below -5% and I'm far from a great poker player, so I get a little hint at someone's level of play when they sport a -15% ROI

no im not just that i have mixed emotions about suplied
stats to just every one , its like i think they should ask if you would like to opt out .
especialy newer players , lots of the adds like say track down the fish with our soft ware that sort of mentality

Personally, I don't take Sharkscope too seriously. I meant the subject line of this post as a joke, actually. However, I do like to look at my own results there just to see what they have. I have an Excel spreadsheet I set up for myself at home that is actually correct. Sharkscope is a little off, but they're close.

If I were going to try to use that website as a tool to learn about other players, I probably wouldn't use the ROI as my measurement. Instead, I would click on the name and look at the resulting charts. The chart on the left shows the change in bankroll over time, which I think is much more revealing. Using mine, for example, you would see that for the first couple of weeks I was playing SNGs, I had a slight, steady increase in my bankroll. Then I went on tilt. On the chart it looks like a cliff. I went 15 straight SNGs without cashing and my bankroll went way down. Then I took a couple of days off and when I went back, you can see for the next couple of weeks my bankroll increased slightly again. Then another tilt. I went eleven straight SNGs without cashing. Now, I'm back to steady, slight increase. So, if you look at that, do you think I'm ready to tilt again? Or would you expect me to continue the way I have for the past week? There's a big difference there.

Although I've never used sharkscope to look at other players' info before, I did take a look at the chart for Riddem. I can honestly say that I am not ready to sit at a table with him. That's all I'm saying!
