Congraqts on your article Tre.
For a forum thats meant to be the biggest poker related on the net, and related to Sklansky and his books from what I have read about 90% of the posters seem like cocky a$$h0le's, its not really a poker or strategy forum more who is the biggest alpha male and who can give the best insults. Reminds me of Micons forum, its not much better, I think this forum is miles better than 2+2. |

I've had a flick through it, but because 2+2 is so much bigger than here, it gets pretty boring when one HH develops into a 27 page thread. Granted there is some very good analysis and posting - but thats overshadowed by the ego/harsh posting and name calling etc. |

I think that's what makes it a higher quality forum. When someone makes a dumb post, like 20 people respond to tell them that they're wrong. Most people here are less experienced, and actually spend time analysing and thinking about some really bad advice, and it becomes a lot harder to sort the good from the bad. This forum used to be really bad a while ago, with a lot of people just giving awful weak-tight advice and there weren't really many good players here to counter it. It's gotten better lately though. |
