I thought this might be a fun idea to try. The Bounty Hunter tournament is a NL Hold'em Knockout tournament where the bounty is a full 100% of the buy-in. That is, there is no prize pool. It's possible to finish in 2nd without winning a cent, and it's possible that the person who wins the most money doesn't even make the final table!
Name: FTP Bounty Hunter
Password: bobafett
ID: Tournament #48004102
Time/Date: 05/18/08 20:00ET
Buy-in: $5 + $0.50
Game: NL Hold'em Knockout
I'll bump this thread as the tourney approaches and probably post a thread in the lounge too.
Good luck

I seem to remember a similiar tourney with chillbot. If I recall correctly, Zophar finished 2nd, and actually lost money somehow.
If so, I'm wondering if he'll play this one....lol.
I won't be able to make it, though. Maybe next time. |

if I was going to be around on sunday I'd definately play.
I also like the idea of a 50%/50% knockout.
make a $10 buyin, $5 prize pool $5 for bounty.
I think absolute just starting doing this with their $200 KO tourney, $100 prize pool and $100 knockout |

It was good -- even if I had to suck out to take BNS out. But there's a flaw in the design...
I paid $5+.50 to play -- and took out the three other players. winning me $15.00 -- that's a return of $9.50 -- but there should have been another $5.00 in there. My pay-in did not go to anyone, so FullTilt made an extra $5.00 on the tourney. Not that I mind them making money -- but there should always be 1 paid position worth the buy-in.

Wow that's kinda sick. I never even thought about that. I'm gonna PM Rick and see what he has to say about it. |

I might have after all... I can't tell from the BR ($5 is not enough to tell) and I forgot to turn on hand logging on this new computer so I can't look at messages. It would be less confusing, perhaps, for there to be a popup message or an explicit payout (1 place paid).
Thanks for the link and the info!
