It is. Under defined circumstancas. The "Herbertstrasse" in Hamburg St. Pauli is a street with nothing but (legal) knocking shops. Women (exept those who are working there) are out of bounds. |

in case you aren't completely exhausted after Hamburg,..
make sure u see some castles (e.g. Neuschwanstein near Munich)....
...most Americans I know just looove castles, as they are not common in the US.
...and of course u need to stop by in Munich to drink some proper beer 
when are you planning to come to Germany?
Depending on the date there might be some more to dos on your list (e.g. the Oktoberfest, as mentioned by Steinbeisser)
