| if this site really wants to be the best, they need to implement some kind of final table deal making like pokerstars and partypoker have |

people that make it to the final table are typically the minority of players. It is catering to the majority that brings about the success in business, not the minority.
While I do not disagree with your request, it's certainly true that your reasons behind wanting such a modification are questionable. |

| I think this would be a great feature, and one that FT should implement. Just remember that it takes time and effort for these things to get implemented, and there are currently things that are more important to more people on the list, such as time banks, etc. |

The difference between the time clock and deal making is that a time clock will constitute a software update. The deal making option just needs a moderator to momentarily freeze the tournament while the deal is being struck.
Don't the moderators keep an eye on the tournaments anyway? If so, they obviously watch the big buy-ins. Do they also patrol the daily guaranteed tournaments as well?

I'd like to see deal-making on FTP. It's common practice in professional poker (I think) to make deals, so it only seems logical that a site designed and endorsed by so many pros offer deal-making.
I don't think it should apply to smaller tourneys though, but the big guaranteed tourneys. It would also be nice to have a standard deal, guaranteeing each player an equal amount of money, and prorating (is that the right word?) the rest of the money based on chip count. Someone posted a deal made on PokerStars here on the forum, which looked extremely unfair for the chip leader. |
