The main question is can you turn play chips to real money.I heard that if you get 1 million in play chips u can convert them for real cash.Is that what Chris Fergason did to get his bank roll that they talk about on the show?

Welcome to the forums, wm7765.

You cannot convert play chips to real money. You can, however, play a special freeroll that runs every night at 20:40, I believe. It has a 500,000 buy-in, so the field is much smaller than normal freerolls.

What Chris Ferguson did was remarkable. He started with nothing, and worked it up to over $10,000. He started by playing freerolls. He played these for months before he had enough money to play the $1 tourneys. Chris Ferguson is hardcore. He's poker's Chuck Norris.
