anyone else not get the option to shove all in when reraised?
i was in the daily double-a last night and we were already in the money
at 500/1000 blinds i raise the big blind 3x with Ace King os and the player to my left flat calls me, the bb shoves for another 2600. i still have at least 19k in chips left and the flat caller has 34.5k . i only got the option to fold or call the all-in, not the option to raise all- in myself to try to isolate the player in the big blind. well i called and the big stack did as well, the flop comes out three small cards and i try to check it down and the big stack shoves forcing me to fold. his cards are flipped over revealing what else but ace queen off suit, a hand that i had dominated. a small consolation that te bb made a straight and won the pot, but if i had the option to shove and the big stack calls , i would have won the larger side pot and been in better shape in the tourney. |

| If the reraise isnt as large as your intial raise, then you cannot re-re-raise |

| so if i just min - raised there to 2000 and he shoved 3600 all in i would have the chance to re shove and push the big stack out of the pot? i just wanted to know why my "hands were tied" there with someone else to act behind me. ill know better from now on and either raise enough to put the short stack all in in the first place or just min raise so that i have the option to shove. i felt like the meat in a screw me sandwich. |
