How do you deal with players that do this EVERY hand Heads up? Usually when I start a new table, and somebody joins...there's a player that raises the pot preflop, and I'll call with a good, to medium hand...
Then they'll bet the pot every time. I usually fend these guys off pretty well for a good bit, by picking and choosing my fights...but they tend to win out in the long run (at least recently).
These guys are one trick ponies, and I loved going all in with the nuts on the flop, when they have something in their hole like 2c/4s/Jh/7d. I wish I could see these guys' cards on every hand...because they do the same darn thing every hand no matter what.
What is your strategy with these players? Or do you simply leave the table? They always seem to suckout. |

I think you anwsered you own question. You have to pick and choose your fights. I usually try not to call too many hands out of position, reraise them preflop when you have a hand and position. Dont be afraid to get your money in when you have the best of it. You have to accept that they might suck out on you, its part of the game.
edit: i just noticed you were talking about a HU game but position is still important. |

| start reraising them preflop and if they smooth call your reraise they are weak and you can probablyt take it down on the flop with a bet or a raise. or you can smooth call them preflop then when they bet the flop smooth call them again and they will probably check the turn and then you can bet and win. just look at the texture of the board, if its scary you can pronbably win because they wont have a hand every time |
