I am a full time grinder on full tilt accumulating roughly 60k player points in a single year. Thats not a lot, but a lot more than the average person. I have been keeping an eye on this thing. First off.. I played with Chris in a cash game 5 -10 nolimit, when he apparantley had 8,000 dollars. WHY IS HE PLAYING 5 -10 NL with a BANKROLL OF 8 Grand. IS that not in his "Personal Bankroll management rules" to play cash games that you do not have 20 buyins for???? And of course he dirtied me. I raised the small blind into him with A 10. He calls. FLop A 7 2. I bet he goes all in and I call. Hes got q 7. And of course rivers a 7. ANY, and I mean all great cash game players on the net know that you do not call a raise with q 7 nor move all in with it. Yea Im bitter about the beat I took, but the whole thing is a hoax.

But honestly, how do you go from 0 to 10K, when you rarely, and I mean RARELY even see the guy on here. The whole thing is a hoax. I know numerous FULL TIME GRINDERS on here that are winning players, who like myself, multitable up to 12 tables per session, playing up to 10,000 hands a day. And the winning is streaky, and slow if your playing within your bankroll management. I just wanted to give my thoughts to anyone who is following the "Jesus Ferguson" quest and tell them the truth of online poker. I have done well on full tilt this year, cashing around 13000-15000 between tournaments and multi tableing cash games. Im not complaining about full tilt, I just want everyone who is interested in this quest to know that it is probably just a PROMO and very unrealistic. Good Luck at the tables all!!!

If his bankroll is $8,000, then his max buy in is $400, which is 40 BB at 5/10NL. Assuming he's playing short at 5/10, then your SB raise is seen as a steal, in which case he's probably ahead with Q high, hits middle pair, and gets it in since he doesn't have much left behind.

I saw him playing plenty at all levels during the promo/experiment, usually buying in short.

He was short stacking that table, he'd buy in for $200 at a time there. He said never put more then 5% on the table at a time and he never did. I saw him play every level up to the 5/10 as well. I even played in a $5 razz sng with him.(and beat him HU coming from a 7:1 disadvantage) You sir are half informed.

In Chris Ferguson's Pro Chat 8/14/06 he answered the question of how do you deal with frequent bad beats.
His answer was " I try to give them, and appreciate it when I do. That's how i deal with them. "
That's the best answer I've heard on the subject, and what separates a Pro from a cry baby.

The man is an incredible poker player! Bad beats are frequent when you play 10,000 plus hands a day, and put to much on an Ace 10. A 3 2 off can be the winning hand if the river sees fit. Its poker!
