| Please tell me how rakes are taken, other sites have a dealer image and show rake beside them, I don't see any being taken from the small stakes tables I am playing. I tried to go to the site listed elsewhere here (fulltiltpoker.com/rake ect) and get the dreaded white page (cannot be displayed) |

| If you let your mouse hover above the pot (with money in it) during the course of a hand it will be displayed (if the pot is large enough for the minimum rake to be taken.) I think in general it is 5% |

I noticed today that the rake has gone up, but only on the .05/.10 NL Hold 'EM (I don't play anything other than Hold 'EM, so can't speak for other games). I haven't really figured out the numbers, but since most players seem to play at these low numbers, isn't increasing the rake taking advantage of us? I mean, it's just a way for Full Tilt to make more money off of the little man.
In case I'm wrong, and in their defense, I'd like to add that the max rake taken is LOWER at this level also. I don't know if that actually averages out or not, as most pots at this level don't get big enough to reach the max rake. But you may be able to make more FTP points. I'll leave the math up to someone smarter than me!
Just my .05 cents! |
