My dog got hit by a car last night. I have no money besides 3 dollars in my fulltilt poker account. I am going to get it up to a few hundred dollars in the next two days so i can pay the vet, otherwise he will be put down.
I will let everyone know of my progress. Wish me luck!
If anyone would like to donate a dollar to help my chances that would be great. Peace and Love

Subtle. A beg post disguised with a sympathy plea. No matter the circumstances, asking for donations or otherwise begging for money is not acceptable. Please don't do it in the future.

Also, playing to win money is not the best idea. You're not going to be in the right frame of mind to play and you're going to be much more likely to lose the $3 you have as opposed to running it up to the requisite money needed.

Seriously speaking, the vet should be able to offer some form of a payment program for the care, or you should have family or friends who can pay for this now until you can raise the money to pay them back. Either of these options would be better than gambling to pay a bill.

Yep, so you can write:

Quote:
I Heart my dog

although

Quote:
I Spade my dog

might be more appropriate, at least in Bob Barker's eyes.

OMG LMAO!!! So your dog gets hit by a car less than 24 hours ago, youve been to the vet obviously and now the first thought that comes to mind..... "I think I'll make my first post on the forum and let every1 know that I am doing this" LMAO!!! Just so you know it takes a couple weeks to be able to get a check off full tilt when you cash out, hope the vet doesnt repossess your dog!!!!

Up to 24 dollars, in less then a half hour. Not bad. You can keep laughing, hopefully you'll get hit by a car and not have any insurance, haha that would be funny. And someone actually contributed a dollar so thank you to him.

peace

I will laugh because that is hard to believe, if you were serious I wouldnt but seeing how you didn't do to hot yesterday in your 45man $11 buyin or your 1 cent dollar buy in the day before, i find it harder and harder to believe that youve turned that into $26 but if on the small chance that your story is true GOOD LUCK WITH IT!!!!

Not likely, since the minimum transfer is $5.

Since this was a good work of fiction, I moved it to "Poker Stories". Also, while I'm not able to log in right now, I'd love to see some rail chat from forumers who track this guy's name and offer him "moral support" on the rail in his grand quest to save his precious pet's life.
