The good:

I think I played this hand smart. I don't want to get married to a high only hand, but the table has been passive so I will try and take a flop here. I flop top set, but with two spades, I don't want to bet big til the turn. Whatever he was chasing obviously missed.

The ugly:

hand speaks for itself. I am oop and raises don't chase anyone. I figure on the flop I'm huge though. I've got concealed aces, and the nut low draw. Dam turn kills my hand, then the paired K on the river and what can I beat? Apparently all the high hands. Almost called cause of the pot size.

I figured I'd let some others pipe in before I did, waited a week and nothing, so here's my .02.

Hand 1- Hate preflop, flop play on is optimal. I love KK for certain, this KK really sucks, but I don't have any problem w/playing it. It's the limp.
I don't know your general limp/raise ratio, but this has to be raised imo because:

A-It plays awful multiway, even when you DO make your hand. Too frequently in a multi way pot, the flop coordinates with several different draws that KK can't dodge or improve against often enough. Also, consider how many flops really hit this hand well. Not many. Playing hands like this is almost semibluffing. Can't bluff passively.

B-It plays better HU. See above.

C-Should be A. You want position. You always want position, especially when it's so reachable.

D-You lose an opportunity to win the hand right there and you lose a ton of postflop fold equity. Against most opponents at $25PL, you can c-bet a raised flop often and pick it up with air. Against alot of people you can even get away with c-betting 345 flops.
OTF, I think it was a good line given a a fairly draw heavy board. OTT, shake n bake.

Hand 2
In limit, a year ago, I would have probably played it very similarly. Now, I'm probably check folding the turn. The K's a really bad card for this hand. With the straight and flush on the board, as well as an already made higher FH(which you're drawing dead to) it became a -EV situation. If a 2-9 falls OTT I think you can bet fast until you hit resistance. If he has a better J or FH, he'll be showing it here.

Hand 3- Pretty standard through the flop I think. FWIW, if either A is suited, I'm raising here. OTT, it's acceptable to cry as you push the fold button.
