| This just happened to me about 2 minutes ago. I sat down at a stud table with one other person sitting down with half of a complete buyin. i bought in for the same amount. i forgot to mention i haven't played cash game stud in about a year but for some reason i just felt like playing. I busted the guy in 3 hands, lol. even for half of a complete buyin that is pretty quick. so that's pretty fun to bust a guy in about a minute and a half. lol |

| Well, there is no max buyin, so I'm assuming that you mean the number that is standard when it asked you to buyin. That number is always 10 times the big bet, which means half of that is 5 big bets. 5 big bets in 3 hands is not that much at all. You could easily go through 5 big bets in 1 hand. |

| hmmm... no i didn't know there was a max buy-in. i was just assuming what the buy in would have been in hold em i guess.... that tells you how much i know about limit poker and stud. he didn't have 5 big bets though. he had more than an average buy-in actually from what you say... he had 20 big bets |

I've had a guy bust his 20BB stack in razz in two hands. Similar in stud although I think it was probably three or four.
All you need is a flush / straight chaser that hits on seventh when you've already made a full house.
In razz it's even easier. |
